Mads Bech Paluszewski-Hau (Copenhagen, Denmark)
Mads Bech Paluszewski-Hau (1977) is a Danish sound-artist, composer, musician performer and cultural producer living in Copenhagen, Denmark.
He is currently working within genres and themes such as resonance, futurism, free-improvisation, electro-acoustic, music concrete, no-input mixing, feed-back systems. In some of these works he propose to realize an interactive, site-specific sound installation that uses live, resonance signals as source material. The installation is an experiment in creating a liminal zone in which objects collected from everyday surroundings will be transformed to ‘animated’, singing beings that reveals their inner nature, their material and mechanical composition.
During the recent years, he has been honored by several working, traveling and project grants, as well as been commissioned to either reenact or develop new pieces for art- and cultural institutions, festivals and the like.
Since the early 2000’s Mads Bech Paluszewski-Hau has worked as artist, musician, composer, sound technician, cultural producer, project leader, workshop facilitator, conceptual developer, and cultural development consultant. He has a MA in Geography and Performance Design from Roskilde University, Denmark and a Master thesis on practical, artistic interventions as participation possibilities in urban renewal project.
