PAIC project meetings held from September 18 to September 22, 2017 in Komiža, on the island of Vis, were focused on finding participatory approaches in the communities that lack inner cohesion. The team tried to answer the question about role and possible influence of art in such specific situations. Problematization of the influence of mass tourism and consequences of hollywoodization of the island were also burning topics, since filming of Mamma Mia – Here We Go Again, Hollywood blockbuster was taking place at the same time, restructuring the island life according to the needs of the set. Regular topics, such as budgeting, dissemination and project outputs so were also touched upon, but the  main focus was defining the concept of sustainability for the project, and future development of the e – book. Also, new situations provided new approaches to participation  as artistic and social practice, provoked new, critical point of view and brought some new ideas how to deal with possible complications, both practically and theoretically.
