The PAIC project at the INTERREG DTP CultPlatForm

The PAIC project was presented at the  INTERREG DTP CultPlatForm_21 – 1st Transnational Project Conference, in Pécs, that took place  11-13 October 2017, hosted by the Zsolnay Heritage Management Nonprofit Ltd, in close cooperation with the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts Baden-Württemberg.

As part of the workshop PEOPLE, the session “Community building, involvement and participation”, Irena Sertić, leader of the PAIC, shared with the conference audience main strategies and theoretical insights of the project. An interactive dialogue that followed the presentation proved that the PAIC project is touching upon some important issues while it is developing innovative models in the field of participative art since it is highly engaged in the inclusion of a community in the creative processes. As the central topic of the Pécs conference was audience development,  participatory art approach developed by the PAIC  proved to be an interesting way to involve the new audience and maybe engage new future art practitioners.
